We currently have five adult dogs. Danny & Sandy were our first two. Danny and Sandy were litter mates (brother and sister) so Danny is the Uncle of the three puppies we kept from Sandy's litter, Marina, Titan & Sinbad. They are all the greatest companions and we love them dearly. See Danny's Pedigree Chart here.
Danny has the great temperament for a Ridgeback male. Strong, masculine protective but not aggressive. If a stranger approaches the property he lets them know it is his domain but does not directly approach them he stands his ground and barks while wagging his tail.
Danny was a great uncle when Sandy whelped her first litter. He accepted the puppies willingly and they are all great mates and live together in relative harmony.

Danny has performed well in the showring earning many Best of Breeds and several Classes in Group for each age range. Danny has a strong masculine head which is very attractive to look at. He has a gentle nature with us and children. he is obedient very easy to live with.

Danny and Sandy go for a free from time to time and love to chase each other and bowl each over over (Sandy always tumbles Danny) even though he is much heavier than her. It's a real treat to see them in action. They look really magnificent on the move (As do many good Ridgeback's)
Danny is a good example of a strong Ridgeback male. In looks he is similar to his father 'Monty' and even more similar to his great grandfather. He has a very deep chest and a strong masculine look.
